Digi Summit Mobile App

Digi Summit is a mobile app that allows you to connect to your FLIR D3000 Series DVR from anywhere in the world.
NOTE: The instructions below may differ depending on the model of your Android device.

Prerequisites:
- Android version 2.3 and above.
- Ports 80 and 9000 (or whichever ports your system is using) must be port forwarded to your router.
- You must create a DDNS account, and have the DDNS settings configured in your DVR. You can register your system for a DDNS account at: http://ddns.myddns-flir.com
- The DVR must have Internet access.
- Install the Digi Summit app for free from
the Google Play Store.
- Tap the Digi Summit icon (
) to open the app.
- Tap Device Manager.

- Tap Add.

- Configure the following:
- Device Name: Enter a name for your DVR of your choice.
- Address: Enter your DDNS address (e.g. tomsmith.myddns-flir.com).
- Client Port: Enter the Client Port (default: 9000).
- User Name: Enter the DVR's user name (default: admin).
- Password: By default the password is 000000.
- Tap Save. If this is the first time connecting to the system, you will be prompted to change the DVR password. Tap Confirm.

Enter the new 6 character password and tap Save. This password will be used to connect to your system from now on.

- Tap Save again to connect to the DVR. The app opens in Live View and streams video from all connected cameras.
You can use Digi Summit in portrait mode only.

Taking Screenshots
- Tap
during live view or playback.
- If taking screenshots from live view: Select the grid area you would like to take a screenshot from or tap
to take a screenshot from all connected cameras.

- To view snapshots, please refer to the section "Viewing Screenshots".
Taking Manual Recordings
- Tap
during live view or playback.
- If taking manual recordings from live view: Tap the grid area you would like to start recording on. Tap again when you would like to stop recording.
- If taking manual recordings from playback: Tap
when you would like to stop recording.
- To view manual recordings, please refer to the section "Viewing Manual Recordings".
Using PTZ Controls
If you have a PTZ camera (not included) connected, you may control it using Digi Summit.
NOTE: You must configure the system to communicate with the PTZ camera locally before you can control it using the app. For details, refer to the user manual provided with your system.
To use PTZ controls:
- Tap the channel with your PTZ camera.
- Tap
to open PTZ controls.
- Double-tap the channel to select it in full screen. Use the PTZ controls.

Remote Playback Mode allows you to view recorded video saved on your DVR's hard drive.
To use remote playback mode:
- From the Main Menu, tap Remote Playback.
- Tap Select Channel. Select the channel you would like to playback from.

- The calendar shows any days that have recorded video for the selected channel with dots under the date. Tap on a date to view video from that day. Swipe up or down to change the month shown in the calendar.

- Playback begins at the earliest available recordings from the selected day. Use the on-screen playback controls.

You can view screenshots or share them using the app.
NOTE: To share screenshots, you must configure the apps used for sharing. FLIR does not
support 3rd party applications.
To view screenshots:
- From the Main Menu, tap Image View.
- Select the DVR with screenshots you would like to view.
- Tap the screenshot you would like to view.

To share screenshots:
- Tap
to share. Select an app that you would like to share the file with. Follow the app's instructions to share the file.

You can view manual recordings using the app.
To view manual recordings:
- From the Main Menu, tap Record Playback.
- Tap the DVR you would like to view manual recordings from.
- Tap the recording file you would like to view.
- Use the on-screen controls.

You can use the Device Manager to add, delete, or modify your DVRs.
To delete a DVR:
- From the Main Menu, tap Device Manager.
- Swipe to the right on the DVR you would like to delete and tap Delete.

- Tap Delete to confirm.
To modify a DVR:
- From the Main Menu, tap Device Manager.
- Tap on the DVR you would like to modify.
- Change the connection details as needed and then tap Save.
